All-On-Four dental implants are an innovative implant technique that allows patients with a compromised bone structure to receive the benefits of dental implants. Through comprehensive treatment planning, Dr. Harper and Dr. Anderson are able to use just 4 strategically placed implants to secure a denture. In many cases, patients are able to avoid the need for additional treatments making a wider range of patients successful candidates for dental implant secured dentures. Dr. Harper and Dr. Anderson work with you to create a personalized treatment plan to address your personal health goals and needs.
All-On-4 is typically used for patients who need to replace most or all of their teeth. The All-On-Four technique can save patients time and money by streamlining their dental implant procedure. The All-on-four dental implant procedure makes it possible to have teeth removed, dental implants placed, and a temporary restoration fit all in just one visit to our Newport News, VA dentist office. All-on-4 dental implants are placed at a specific angle to optimize healthy bone tissue and in many cases can eliminate expensive and time-consuming bone grafting.
Dr. Harper and Dr. Anderson create a comprehensive pre-treatment plan that allows for a “one and done” visit for restoring patient’s smiles. Patients typically take about 2-3 months to fully heal from the surgical phase of treatment. During this time, implants begin to fuse with the jaw bone creating a permanent and secure bond. When the dental implants have fully integrated with the jaw bone, the temporary bridge will be removed and the permanent crown, overbridge or denture will be secured in place for a permanent restoration.
Dental implant secured dentures provide patients with long term health benefits. Missing teeth are detrimental to a person’s confidence, oral and systemic health. Replacing missing teeth with All-On-Four makes it possible to enjoy a healthy, functional smile again.

Dr. William Harper
Dr. William Harper has been working with implants for 17 years and has experience with many different types of implant systems. He uses dental implants to help patients replace missing single teeth, both front and back teeth. He also uses implants to replace multiple missing teeth, including implant-supported bridges, implant-assisted dentures, implant-supported dentures, and “All on 4”, “All on Four”, and “Teeth in a Day” implant solutions. His extensive background in smile design, anterior porcelain veneers, crowns, and occlusion (bite forces, and properly spreading out bite forces) allows him to predictably reconstruct natural-looking smiles and chewing ability. He often is called upon to help rescue or correct previous implant problems. His practice is very much a “problem solving” type of practice, and while he does spend some of his time on typical fillings and simple crowns, he spends more time coming up with solutions to help patients keep their functional and esthetic health for rest of their life. Dr. Harper would prefer to find solutions early, rather than dealing with the problems created by “botched” treatments done haphazardly and without proper experience and training. Some of the problems that Dr. Harper has solved are shown below. (or HERE)

They review and discuss challenging cases, new research, and new technology surrounding dental implants. In addition, Dr. Harper is a member of the Spear Faculty Club, a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
